PWD (Interventions with Differently Abled Population)

A comprehensive initiative focused on improving the access and mobility of 250 Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) was undertaken, aiming to advocate for their inclusion in the mainstream society. Essential aids such as wheelchairs, hearing aids, and assistive devices were distributed to 250 PWDs, significantly enhancing their mobility and independence.

In addition to the distribution of aids, the program worked towards increasing societal inclusion of PWDs, promoting their active participation in social, educational, and employment opportunities. Awareness campaigns were conducted to inform the PWD population about government schemes and entitlement benefits available, ensuring they could access services designed to support their empowerment.

To further support this cause, a crowdfunding initiative was launched to raise funds for additional aids, creating a platform for the community to contribute and support PWDs in need. The combined efforts of distribution, advocacy, and awareness have fostered a more inclusive society, ensuring that PWDs are recognized, empowered, and integrated into mainstream life.
