Women Empowerment and Care for Senior Citizens
Under a collaborative initiative with NIXI, efforts were undertaken to form, promote, and strengthen 100 Self-Help Groups (SHGs) for livelihood generation. Of these, 20 SHGs were newly promoted, and 90 SHGs were linked to the Revolving Fund, enabling them to initiate economic activities. Further, 75 SHGs were successfully connected with bank credit, providing them access to formal financial resources to scale their enterprises.
Through enhanced financial inclusion and capacity building, SHGs achieved substantial growth, resulting in over ₹1 crore of inter-loaning among members. This initiative empowered rural communities, promoted entrepreneurship, and fostered sustainable livelihoods for women and marginalized groups.
